20 questions, no upsets

While wondering if the teams from the Boston area are about to take over the world, I’m here to pose this week’s 20 questions:
If it came down to undefeated Boston College and one-loss LSU vying for the final spot in the BCS title game, which team would you want?
Saturday’s give-and-go goal by Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez was an absolute thing of beauty, but how does that beat out Trinity University’s 15-lateral touchdown for SportsCenter’s No. 1 play of the day?
Who’s worse at defending the desperation lateral-at-all-costs play, Millsaps College or Stanford University? With the Majors (that’s Millsaps’ nickname) needing all the help they could get, where was the band?
After their big victory over Virginia, have you notice that Tom O’Brien’s Wolfpack are only five games behind the Eagles he left behind?
Can’t you see shenanigans like the one Georgia pulled off after its first touchdown against Florida really getting out of control? Will the NCAA have to come up with a new “Mark Richt Rule” before next season?
Wouldn’t it be something if Dennis Dixon’s big games were actually televised on something other than regional cable TV?
Are you ready for 10 -- or even 11 -- SEC teams to be going bowling?
Has there ever been a more talented team without a household name at running back than Florida? What would Urban Meyer give to have had USC transfer Emmanuel Moody instantly eligible? And wouldn’t Pete Carroll like to have him back?
Wow, hasn’t Sylvester Croom leaped off the hot seat in style?
Has Jamaal Charles stopped running yet? How many more decades will pass before a Nebraska defense allows a player to explode for 216 rushing yards and three touchdowns in a single quarter again?
Isn’t Jerry Glanville supposed to be known for his defensive prowess? Does PGE Park now qualify as another kind of “House of Pain” after Glanville’s Portland State Vikings blew a 7-3 second quarter lead in a 73-68 loss to Weber State?
With their team totally incapable of beating the bad teams on their schedule, are UCLA fans overjoyed that the Bruins close the season against non-lightweights Arizona State, Oregon and USC?
What happened to all the upsets this past Saturday? Next time, will the powers that be please tell the guy who does “Predictions 101” when they’re about to flip the switch and suddenly turn off the fresh supply of upsets?
