It's never too early to start thinking Heisman

It’s never too early to think about who’ll win the next Heisman Trophy. After all, the chatter always starts just a few minutes after the annual recipient is announced, especially if an underclassman gets the nod, as then-sophomore Tim Tebow did last December.

An idea to borrow from ... soccer?

To suggest that football here in the United States could learn a thing or two from the “football” in Europe would be fighting words to most.

But, they’re on to something over there across the Atlantic, where the sport we know as “soccer” is king. CONTINUED >>
